Organized by China Energy Research Association (CERA), Energy Storage Committee of CERA and Zhongguancun Energy Storage Industry and Technology Alliance (ZGESITA), the 2023 CERA Annual Forum on Energy Storage was held in Beijing International Convention Center on November 23, 2023, which focused on "Accelerating Energy Storage Technology Innovation to Support the Construction of New Power Systems" and featured seven speeches.

Focusing on "Accelerating energy storage technology innovation to support the construction of new power systems", the forum held seven lectures and invited relevant government departments, China Energy Research Institute, power grid companies, power generation group companies, universities and colleges, scientific research institutes, and leading energy storage companies to discuss the topic, and nearly 30,000+ viewers participated in the event. The conference was attended by more than 30,000+ visitors online.

Against the backdrop of achieving the goal of peak carbon neutrality, it is of great significance to promote the energy revolution and accelerate the planning and construction of a new type of energy system to ensure the national energy security. 2023 China Energy Research Society Annual Meeting Energy Storage Thematic Forum has been held with in-depth discussions on the key topics of the new power system, technological innovations, digitization, virtual power plants, safety standards and project practices.
